The problem

The Nature Forever Society’s existing online store was nearing the end of its license, providing an opportunity for a comprehensive revamp. The client sought to move away from the custom-designed store in favor of a new, user-friendly platform with a modern aesthetic. Analysis indicated numerous areas for improvement, particularly in usability, site functionality, and visual appeal, with the ultimate goal of driving more traffic and boosting revenue. The client wanted a visually engaging, intuitive website that would stand out in the competitive e-commerce landscape.

Upon reviewing the existing store, it was clear that it fell short compared to similar e-commerce sites, with a cluttered layout and underemphasized product displays. The lack of prominence for products and suboptimal visuals contributed to reduced sales and a high drop-off rate among users. Furthermore, the homepage lacked adequate visuals and a clear, intuitive information flow, while product descriptions were insufficient and image quality was low, making it challenging for customers to make informed purchasing decisions.
